Zinnia 'Zahara Raspberry Lemonade Mixed'

Zinnia marylandica 'Zahara Raspberry Lemonade Mixed' is a vibrant and exceptionally resilient annual blend designed to withstand the unpredictable UK summer. This mix features compact, bushy plants that produce a profusion of single flowers in refreshing shades of raspberry pink, bright yellow, and creamy white. Unlike the Zinnia elegans varieties, the Zahara series was specifically bred for superior disease resistance, particularly to powdery mildew, which can be a problem in humid British weather. They are also highly drought-tolerant and heat-resistant. These zinnias reach a modest height of 30-45cm, making them perfect for the front of borders or for filling patio pots with long-lasting colour. They thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Deadheading will encourage even more flowers to appear throughout the season. These cheerful blooms are also highly attractive to pollinators, adding life and movement to the garden from midsummer until the arrival of frosts.
