Oblong Woodsia

Woodsia ilvensis, the Oblong Woodsia, is a rare and charming small deciduous fern, often found in rocky, exposed locations. It forms a compact rosette of finely divided, grey-green fronds that are hairy on the underside. Typically reaching just 10-20cm in height and spread, it's a resilient little fern with a delicate appearance. H6 hardy, it thrives in partial shade and very well-drained, gritty, neutral to acidic soil, often growing in crevices.
