Mullein 'Arctic Summer'

Verbascum bombyciferum, commonly known as Turkish Mullein or Giant Mullein, is a truly majestic biennial creating an impactful statement in the garden. It forms a large rosette of striking, silvery-grey, softly felted leaves in its first year, followed by towering, branched spikes of bright yellow flowers in its second year, often reaching over 2 metres in height. This hardy plant demands full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating dry and poor conditions. It's superb for the back of sunny borders, wild gardens, or as a focal point. It readily self-seeds, offering continuous drama and attracting pollinators.
