Cranberry 'Pilgrim'
Cranberry 'Pilgrim' is a prostrate, evergreen shrub, perfect for ground cover in damp, acidic areas, or even grown in large containers. It produces abundant crops of very large, dark red berries with the classic tart cranberry flavour, ideal for juice, sauces, and festive cooking. The plant creates an attractive mat of small, glossy green leaves, turning bronze in winter, and delicate pink flowers in summer. 'Pilgrim' is self-fertile and extremely hardy. Pink flowers appear in June-July, followed by fruit ripening from October to November. It requires consistently moist, acidic soil (pH 4.0-5.5) and thrives in full sun to partial shade.
