Purple Heart 'Purpurea'

Purple Heart is a vibrant and fast-growing succulent perennial, renowned for its striking, deep purple, lance-shaped leaves that provide year-round colour. It forms a sprawling, bushy habit, making it excellent for ground cover in frost-free regions or as a dramatic spiller in containers and hanging baskets in the UK. Small, three-petalled, pinkish-purple flowers emerge intermittently, particularly in summer, contrasting beautifully with the rich foliage. While tender to frost, it can be grown outdoors in a sheltered spot during the summer months or kept as an eye-catching houseplant on a bright windowsill. It thrives in well-drained soil and tolerates some neglect.
