Lime 'Rosedale'
Tilia cordata 'Rosedale' is a delightful cultivar of the small-leaved lime, offering a more compact and elegant form suitable for a wider range of gardens compared to its larger species parent. This deciduous tree typically grows to 10-15 metres, maintaining a neat, conical to oval crown. It features attractive, heart-shaped, glossy dark green leaves, which turn a lovely buttery yellow in autumn. In summer, fragrant, pale yellow flowers emerge in pendulous cymes, attracting bees. 'Rosedale' is hardy, adaptable to most well-drained soils, thrives in full sun to partial shade, and is relatively resistant to aphid issues often associated with limes.
