Golden Eastern Arborvitae 'Sunkist'
Thuja occidentalis 'Sunkist' is a vibrant cultivar of the Eastern Arborvitae, forming a dense, broadly conical to ovoid shape of bright golden-yellow foliage. The colour is most intense on new growth and when planted in full sun, though it tolerates partial shade. This medium-sized conifer typically reaches 2-3 metres in height and 1-1.5 metres in spread, making it suitable for hedging, screening, or as a colourful specimen plant. It is exceptionally hardy (H7) and adaptable, thriving in moist, well-drained soil. This RHS AGM holder provides excellent year-round colour and structure, brightening up the garden even on dull winter days.
