Tree germander

Teucrium chamaedrys, commonly known as Wall Germander, is a versatile and attractive evergreen sub-shrub, bringing a touch of Mediterranean formality to UK gardens. It forms a neat, compact mound of small, dark green, aromatic leaves, which are excellent for low hedging or knot gardens. In summer, spikes of cheerful, rosy-purple flowers emerge, attracting bees.
