Spinach 'Apollo'

'Apollo' is a highly regarded spinach cultivar known for its quick growth, disease resistance, and excellent flavour. It produces abundant, dark green, slightly savoyed leaves, forming a compact rosette of about 20-30cm in height and spread. Spinach prefers a partial shade to full sun position in cool weather, and consistently moist, fertile soil. H2. While it will bolt in hot weather, 'Apollo' is slower to bolt than many other varieties. Its leaves can be harvested young for salads or as mature leaves for cooking. It has no significant ornamental flowers.
