Potato Vine 'Album'

Solanum jasminoides 'Album', commonly known as White Potato Vine, is a charming, semi-evergreen to deciduous climber that produces masses of fragrant, star-shaped white flowers with yellow centres. These delicate blooms appear almost continuously from early summer through to autumn, creating a frothy, ethereal display. It’s a fast-growing, twining climber, capable of reaching 4-6 meters, making it ideal for covering walls, fences, pergolas, or trellises in a UK garden. 'Album' prefers a warm, sunny, sheltered position but can tolerate some partial shade. It thrives in fertile, well-drained soil. While generally hardy in milder areas, it benefits from winter protection in colder regions. A beautiful, long-flowering choice for a cottage garden feel.
