Cobweb Houseleek 'Cebenese'

'Cebenese' is a particularly vigorous and large-scaled cultivar of the beloved Cobweb Houseleek. This hardy succulent is characterized by its tight, globose rosettes of pale green leaves, which are heavily draped in a dense, silvery-white webbing that resembles a spider's web across the tips. This woolly coating helps protect the plant from intense sun and moisture loss. In summer, established rosettes produce upright, leafy stems topped with clusters of bright pink, star-shaped flowers. It is exceptionally hardy in the UK, making it perfect for troughs, rockeries, or crevice gardens. It thrives in poor, gritty soil and requires minimal maintenance once established. To maintain its appearance, ensure it is grown in full sun, as shade can cause the rosettes to stretch and lose their characteristic webbing. It is an excellent choice for beginner succulent growers due to its resilience to low temperatures.
