Golden-stemmed Dwarf Bamboo 'Kimmei'

A delightful running bamboo cherished for its slender, upright culms which are green but vividly striped with golden-yellow, especially younger canes, providing bright interest. It typically reaches an ultimate height of 1-2m, spreading to form a dense clump. It is very hardy in the UK (H5). Flowering is rare. It thrives in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. Its bright, striped culms make it an excellent choice for containers, informal hedging, or adding linear structure and colour to a border.
