Stonecrop 'Blue Spruce'

Sedum reflexum 'Blue Spruce' is a distinctive and highly resilient succulent ground cover, offering unique texture and colour to dry, sunny spots in UK gardens. This cultivar forms dense mats of needle-like, silvery-blue foliage that uncannily resembles miniature spruce needles, hence its common name. The foliage provides excellent year-round interest and remains evergreen through winter. In summer, it sends up upright stems topped with clusters of bright yellow, star-shaped flowers, attracting pollinators. 'Blue Spruce' is exceptionally drought-tolerant and thrives in full sun and very well-drained, even poor, sandy or gritty soil. It's fully hardy (H6) and ideal for rockeries, green roofs, cascading over walls, or as a low-maintenance filler in dry gravel gardens, providing architectural interest.
