Stonecrop 'Coral Carpet'

Sedum album 'Coral Carpet' is a delightful, low-growing succulent ground cover, celebrated for its dynamic colouration and ability to thrive in tough, dry spots across UK gardens. This cultivar forms a dense, cushion-like mat of tiny, bead-like leaves that are a vibrant green in summer, transforming into a stunning coral-red in autumn and winter, particularly when exposed to sun or drought stress. In mid-summer, it produces an abundance of delicate white, star-shaped flowers that hover above the foliage. 'Coral Carpet' is exceptionally drought-tolerant and thrives in full sun and very well-drained, even poor, stony or sandy soil. It's fully hardy (H7) and ideal for rockeries, green roofs, path edges, or cascading over walls, providing year-round interest with minimal fuss.
