Stonecrop

Sedum album is a resilient, mat-forming succulent ideal for filling gaps in paving, rockeries, or creating a green roof in the UK. This species features small, cylindrical, bright green leaves that often take on reddish tints in strong sun or cooler temperatures. In early to mid-summer, it produces pretty clusters of tiny white, star-shaped flowers that attract pollinators. Its low-growing, spreading habit makes it an excellent groundcover, suppressing weeds effectively. Extremely hardy and drought-tolerant, Sedum album thrives in full sun and well-drained, even poor, soil. It's a reliable and low-maintenance option for challenging spots.
