Common Soapwort 'Max Frei'

'Max Frei' is a compact and floriferous cultivar of common soapwort, forming a neat mound of green foliage, adorned with clusters of clear pink flowers from early to late summer. Unlike its more vigorous species parent, it's well-behaved for rockeries or the front of a border, growing to 20-30cm high and wide. Hardy (H7), it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Attracts bees and butterflies, providing a long season of colour.
