Golden Willow 'Vitellina'

'Vitellina' is a vibrant cultivar of the White Willow, specifically grown for its electrifying golden-yellow young stems, which provide a spectacular display of winter colour. This deciduous tree can reach 10-15m tall but is often coppiced or pollarded annually to produce a flush of intensely coloured new growth. Fully hardy (H6), it thrives in full sun and moist to wet soils, making it ideal for waterside planting or boggy areas. Provides invaluable winter interest when other plants are dormant, especially when planted in groups.
