Autumn Raspberry 'Allgold'
Rubus idaeus 'Allgold' is a prized autumn-fruiting raspberry cultivar, celebrated for its abundant harvests of delicious, golden-yellow berries. This cane-producing shrub typically grows to 1.5-2 metres in height with a spread of 50-100cm, forming a dense thicket over time. It is fully hardy and produces fruit from late August until the first frosts, offering a late-season treat for gardeners. 'Allgold' performs best in a sunny, sheltered spot with rich, free-draining, slightly acidic soil. The canes die back after fruiting and should be pruned to the ground in late winter.
