Rose 'Albéric Barbier'

'Albéric Barbier' is a beautiful and vigorous rambler, celebrated for its romantic display of creamy-white, loosely double flowers with a lemony-apple fragrance. The blooms, often flushed with yellow in the bud, appear in profusion in early summer. This rose is exceptionally robust and can reach 5-7m in height and spread, with long, flexible, near-thornless canes that are easily trained over pergolas, arches, or through trees. It is particularly tolerant of harsher conditions, including partial shade and north-facing aspects, and is very hardy (H6). Its shiny, disease-resistant foliage adds to its appeal. An RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM) holder, 'Albéric Barbier' is an outstanding choice for its vigour, health, and bountiful, fragrant blooms.
