Rose 'The Lady's Blush' 'The Ladys Blush'
An English Shrub Rose of great charm and simplicity, 'The Lady's Blush' produces medium-sized, semi-double flowers of a beautiful soft pink with a creamy-white centre and a boss of golden stamens. Its appearance is reminiscent of a refined dog rose (Rosa canina), but with the added benefit of repeat-flowering throughout the season. It has a light to medium fruity fragrance. The shrub is vigorous and healthy, forming a bushy, rounded shape about 1.2m tall and wide. The foliage is a mid-green and relatively disease-resistant. This rose is particularly effective in a naturalistic or 'wild' garden setting where its simple, open blooms are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. It is fully hardy and will thrive in most UK garden conditions, including slightly poorer soils. Its graceful habit and dainty blooms make it a very elegant choice for a mixed floral border or for planting alongside lavender and other perennials.
