Rose 'Super Elfin'

'Super Elfin' is a remarkable climbing rose known for its vibrant, bright red flowers and exceptionally long flowering season. It is a more modern introduction that compensates for the lack of fragrance with sheer flower power and health. The blooms are small to medium-sized, semi-double, and held in large clusters that cover the plant from top to bottom. It typically reaches a height of about 2.5 to 3 metres, making it a manageable climber for smaller gardens or structures. It is very hard (H6) and demonstrates excellent resistance to common rose ailments like blackspot and rust. The foliage is dark green and provides a sharp contrast to the fiery red blooms. In the UK, it is appreciated for its ability to maintain its colour even in rainy weather. Its vigorous growth habit makes it an ideal choice for covering unsightly walls or creating a dense flowering screen over a trellis or pergola.
