Rosa 'Silvasoft'

Introduced more recently to the UK market, 'Silvasoft' is a stunning Floribunda rose that offers something quite unique with its lilac-mauve to lavender tones. The ruffled, semi-double flowers appear in large clusters, providing a cooling aesthetic to the summer garden. Unlike many lavender roses which can be temperamental, 'Silvasoft' is bred for improved vigour and disease resistance. The fragrance is notably strong and sweet, a characteristic often found in this colour range. It maintains a compact, bushy habit, usually growing to about 80cm-90cm, making it an excellent choice for large containers on a patio or for grouping together at the front of a border. The dark green, glossy leaves provide a sharp contrast to the pale amethyst blooms. It performs best in a sheltered spot that receives plenty of sunlight to bring out the best scent and colour depth. Regular deadheading will ensure a continuous display throughout the summer months.
