Rose 'Sheila's Perfume' 'Sheilas Perfume'
'Sheila's Perfume' is a Floribunda rose that lives up to its name with an incredibly strong and sweet scent, often compared to that of a Hybrid Tea. The blooms are particularly striking, with yellow petals edged in a vibrant, contrasting pink-red. As the flowers open, the colors blend beautifully, and the fragrance fills the surrounding air. The growth habit is upright and bushy, reaching about 90cm in height. In the UK, it is a popular choice for those prioritize scent in the garden. It is rated H6 for hardiness and is generally robust, although like many highly scented roses, it may require some protection from blackspot in particularly wet summers. The foliage is dark green and glossy. It is a repeat flowerer, producing flushes of blooms throughout the summer months. It is an ideal rose for planting near a path or patio where its scent can be enjoyed fully. Its flowers are also excellent for cutting and bringing indoors for their perfume.
