Rambling Rector
Renowned for its incredible vigour and abundance of bloom, 'Rambling Rector' is a true powerhouse among ramblers. In early summer, it produces enormous clusters of small, semi-double, creamy-white flowers with a strong, delicious musky fragrance. These blooms are followed by a magnificent display of small, red hips, making it as attractive in autumn as it is in summer. This rose is exceptionally robust, easily reaching 6-8m in height and spread, capable of clambering through large trees or covering unsightly structures. It is extremely hardy (H6), tolerates partial shade, and thrives in most soils, preferring well-drained conditions. A fantastic choice for large gardens, wildlife-friendly schemes, or naturalistic plantings where its rampant growth can be appreciated.
