Rose 'Nostalgia'

'Nostalgia' is a striking Hybrid Tea rose that is immediately recognisable by its unique bi-colour appearance. Each large, ruffled bloom has a creamy-white centre with a broad, cherry-red margin on the outer petals. As the flower opens, the red tones bleed slightly into the white, creating a spectacular and dramatic garden feature. Aside from its visual appeal, it possesses a strong, sweet fragrance. The foliage is dark, glossy, and highly resistant to disease, providing a perfect contrast to the bright flowers. This rose typically grows to about 1m in height and has a neat, upright habit. It is very hardy (H7) and performs exceptionally well in the UK climate, standing up to wind and rain better than many large-flowered varieties. It is an excellent choice for a specimen plant in a pot or for mixing into a formal border. Regular feeding and deadheading will ensure that the plant continues to produce its eye-catching blooms from June through to late autumn.
