Rose 'Margaret Merril'
One of the most beautifully scented of all Floribunda roses, 'Margaret Merril' is a favourite for its exquisite fragrance and elegant white flowers. The blooms are high-centered in the Hybrid Tea style, opening from pink-tinted buds into large, semi-double, pearly-white flowers with a hint of blush at the centre. The scent is powerful, a blend of citrus and spice. This rose has a neat, upright, and bushy habit, typically growing to about 90cm to 1m tall. The foliage is dark green and glossy, providing a sophisticated backdrop to the pale flowers. It is a reliable repeat-flowerer and makes an excellent cut flower for the house. While it is healthy, it benefits from a sunny, open position with good air circulation to keep the foliage in top condition. It is fully hardy (H6) and is perfect for borders near paths or patio areas where its incredible fragrance can be appreciated.
