Rose 'Ice Cream'
'Ice Cream' is a beautiful and elegant Floribunda rose that is highly valued for its large, pure white, double blooms that resemble those of a Hybrid Tea. The flowers are produced in generous clusters and have a light, delicate fragrance. This rose is exceptionally healthy and vigorous, with a bushy, upright habit reaching about 1 metre in height. It is fully hardy in the UK (H6) and has a high resistance to disease, especially blackspot. The foliage is a pale to mid-green and slightly glossy. It is a prolific repeat flowerer, ensuring a clean and bright display throughout the summer months. Its tidy habit and reliable flowering make it a popular choice for mid-border planting or for creating a formal white rose bed. It also grows well in large pots. The flowers are long-lasting on the plant and also make excellent cut flowers. It prefers a position in full sun and thrives with regular feeding and a spring mulch.
