Rose 'Golden Wedding'
'Golden Wedding' is a popular Floribunda rose, frequently chosen as a gift to celebrate its namesake anniversary. It produces high-centered, double blooms of a rich, deep golden-yellow that hold their colour well without fading. The flowers are born in clusters and carry a mild, pleasant fragrance. The plant has a compact and bushy growth habit, typically reaching around 75cm to 80cm in height, which makes it excellent for small beds, pots, or as part of a formal display. It is fully hardy (H6) and is generally a very healthy, disease-resistant variety in the UK. The dark, glossy foliage provides a perfect backdrop for the bright yellow flowers. It is a reliable repeat bloomer, providing a sequence of colour throughout the summer. It prefers a sunny site but can tolerate a small amount of shade. Because of its tidy habit, it is one of the easier roses to maintain, requiring only standard pruning and feeding to thrive year after year.
