Rose 'Crimson Cascade'
'Crimson Cascade' is a popular climbing rose in the UK, prized for its deep, velvety crimson-red blooms and its reliable climbing habit. The flowers are large and fully double, often appearing in clusters, and they carry a mild, pleasant fragrance. It is a vigorous climber, typically reaching heights of 3 to 3.5 metres, making it suitable for training along fences, over arches, or against walls. It is fully hardy (H6) and is known for its good health and resistance to common rose diseases. The foliage is dark green and provides a classic backdrop for the rich red flowers. One of its standout features is its ability to flower repeatedly throughout the season, from early summer into the autumn. It benefits from being trained horizontally to encourage flowering along the entire length of its stems. For best results, it should be planted in a sunny spot with plenty of organic matter in the soil to support its vigorous growth and heavy blooming.
