Rose 'Bring Me Sunshine'
A relatively recent introduction from David Austin, 'Bring Me Sunshine' is a vibrant English Shrub Rose named in honour of the comedian Eric Morecambe. It produces large, deeply cupped blooms in a rich, glowing shade of apricot-orange, which pales slightly as the flower matures to a soft apricot-yellow. The fragrance is strong and warm, with a distinct Myrrh scent. It forms an upright, healthy shrub with plenty of dark green, glossy foliage that resists disease well. Reaching a height of about 1.2m, it is perfect for adding a splash of warm colour to a garden border. Like most modern English roses, it is repeat-flowering and will provide blooms from June until the first frosts if deadheaded regularly. It is a hardy variety that performs best in a sunny spot in the UK. Its cheerful name and radiant colour make it a popular choice for memorial gardens or as a gift for rose enthusiasts.
