Rose 'Emily Brontë' (Excluded - choosing: Rosa) 'Anne Boleyn'
'Anne Boleyn' is a delightful English Shrub Rose that features a unique, spreading habit with gracefully arching stems. It produces large clusters of small, rosette-shaped flowers in a soft shade of warm pink. The fragrance is light and pleasant. Growing to only about 90cm in height but with a wider spread, it is ideal for the front of a border or for growing over a low wall. The foliage is a distinctive soft green with small, neat leaves. In the UK garden, it is valued for its prolific flowering and its ability to cover ground effectively. It is a very healthy and hardy variety. Because of its spreading nature, it can be used to create a informal, low hedge or to fill gaps in a mixed planting scheme. It performs best in full sun but will tolerate some light shade. Regular deadheading and a spring feed will ensure it produces its pretty pink blooms continuously throughout the summer months.
Sun: Full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Fertile, well-drained loam.
Hardiness: H6 — down to −20°C.
Flowering: Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep.
