False Acacia 'Frisia'

Robinia pseudoacacia 'Frisia' is a stunning medium-sized deciduous tree, highly valued for its brilliant golden-yellow foliage that provides a long season of interest in the UK garden. It typically grows to 10-15 metres, forming an upright, somewhat open habit. Its pinnate leaves emerge a vibrant golden-yellow in spring and maintain this striking colour throughout summer, often with orange tints in autumn. In early summer, pendant clusters of fragrant, white pea-like flowers may appear, though less frequently than on the species. Hardy and tolerant of a wide range of soils, including poor urban soils, 'Frisia' thrives in full sun for the best foliage colour. A brilliant specimen tree.
