Nashi Pear 'Chouki'
'Chouki' is a resilient and early-fruiting Nashi pear, forming a medium-sized tree of 4-6m in height and spread. It produces medium-sized, round, green-russeted fruits with a crisp, juicy, and very sweet flavour, ripening in August. Hardy (H5) and performing well in the UK, it benefits from a sheltered, sunny site and fertile, well-drained soil. White blossoms appear in April, providing earlier interest.
