Firethorn 'Orange Glow'

A vigorous evergreen shrub, 'Red Column' is an RHS AGM cultivar prized for its abundant display of bright red berries from late summer through winter, offering a vital food source for birds. In late spring, it produces clusters of small white flowers that are attractive to pollinators. It has a robust, upright to spreading habit, typically reaching 3-4 metres in height and 2-3 metres in spread. The thorny branches make it an excellent choice for security hedging or wall training. Hardy (H6), it tolerates full sun to partial shade and most well-drained soils, including difficult urban sites.
