Alpine Primrose 'Linda Pope'
A beautiful and classic alpine primrose, 'Linda Pope' produces clusters of exquisite lavender-blue flowers, each with a white eye and farina-dusted margins, in early spring. Its attractive, finely-toothed leaves are edged with a silvery farina. Growing to 10-15cm high and 20cm wide, it's perfect for a choice spot in the rock garden or an alpine house. Hardy (H5), it prefers partial shade and consistently moist but well-drained, gritty, alkaline-to-neutral soil. An RHS AGM holder.
