Pickerel Weed 'Alba'

Pickerel Weed 'Alba' is an elegant cultivar of the classic marginal aquatic plant, offering pristine white flower spikes instead of the typical blue. This upright perennial forms clumps of glossy, heart-shaped leaves, from which rise robust stems bearing numerous small, pure white flowers in summer. It's an excellent choice for adding vertical interest and a touch of brightness to pond margins and shallow water. It thrives in full sun, planted in pond baskets or directly into muddy pond edges at depths of up to 30cm. Hardy and relatively low-maintenance, 'Alba' provides a sophisticated contrast.

Sun: Full sun.

Soil: Rich, muddy loam.
