Korean Tassel Fern

Polystichum tsussimense, commonly known as the Korean Tassel Fern, is a beautiful and compact evergreen fern from Korea and East Asia. It forms a neat, upright clump of delicate, dark green fronds, typically growing to a height and spread of 30-45cm. The finely divided, somewhat lacy fronds have a slightly glossy texture and often display a darker midrib, giving them a sophisticated appearance. This elegant fern is perfect for smaller gardens, rock gardens, or containers in shaded positions. It thrives in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil and requires protection from harsh winter winds to maintain its evergreen foliage.
