Split Rock
Pleiospilos nelii, commonly known as Split Rock, is a fascinating succulent native to South Africa, mimicking rocks to deter herbivores. It features two or four thick, stone-like leaves that are plump and grey-green, with a distinctive fissure at the top from which new leaves emerge. This slow-growing plant produces showy, daisy-like yellow or orange flowers.
