Silverstripe Bamboo

This elegant running bamboo is distinctive for its very long, slender, dark green leaves that give it a graceful, almost grassy appearance. It forms a dense, evergreen screen, eventually reaching 2-3m in height with a spread of 1.5-2.5m. 'Silverstripe Bamboo' is hardy in the UK (H4-H5) and excels in partial shade to full sun with consistently moist, well-drained soil. While running, it tends to be less aggressive than some species, but a root barrier is still advisable. Its delicate texture makes it ideal for a subtle screen or as a low-maintenance groundcover in larger areas, offering year-round movement and interest.

Sun: Partial shade to full sun.
