Dwarf Bamboo

This charming dwarf running bamboo is admired for its very fine, delicate foliage, with small, narrow leaves arranged in two ranks along the stem, giving it a fern-like appearance. It forms a dense, spreading groundcover, typically reaching only 30-60cm in height with an indefinite spread. It is fully hardy in the UK (H5) and an excellent choice for brightening shady areas or underplanting. It thrives in partial shade to full shade and consistently moist, well-drained soil. While running, its shallow roots are relatively easy to manage. 'Dwarf Bamboo' adds a delicate texture and elegant carpet to the garden floor.
