Dwarf Striped Bamboo

This diminutive running bamboo is cherished for its fine-textured foliage, with narrow leaves delicately striped with creamy-white. It forms a dense, spreading groundcover, reaching only 30-50cm in height with an indefinite spread. It is fully hardy in the UK (H5) and an excellent choice for brightening shady areas or underplanting. It prefers partial shade to full shade and consistently moist, well-drained soil. While running, its shallow roots are relatively easy to manage. 'Dwarf Striped Bamboo' adds a delicate, luminous quality to the garden floor and is perfect for creating a fine-textured carpet.
