Pea 'Mangetout Snow Pea'

This mangetout pea cultivar, 'Snow Pea', produces abundant, crisp, flat pods that are delicious eaten whole, raw or lightly cooked. It's a climbing variety, growing to approximately 1.5-2 metres in height with a spread of 20-30cm, requiring support. Delicate white flowers emerge in early summer. 'Snow Pea' thrives in a sunny, sheltered position with moist, well-drained soil. H2. A prolific producer, it offers a continuous harvest throughout summer if picked regularly. Its tender pods are a favourite for stir-fries and salads.
