Dwarf Scotch Pine 'Watereri'

Pinus sylvestris 'Watereri' is a highly ornamental, slow-growing evergreen conifer, forming a dense, bushy, broadly conical or rounded crown with age, often developing multiple stems and an attractive, gnarled appearance. It is an excellent specimen for medium to large UK gardens, rockeries, or as part of a mixed border. It typically reaches an ultimate height of 3-5 metres with a similar spread. Its short, twisted, glaucous blue-green needles are striking, often with a hint of red-brown in winter. This robust pine thrives in full sun and well-drained, acidic to neutral soils. It is exceptionally hardy, rated H7 by the RHS, and tolerant of exposed positions and urban pollution. An RHS AGM holder, it provides year-round character and colour.
