Blue Columnar Scotch Pine 'Fastigiata'

Pinus sylvestris 'Fastigiata' is a striking columnar form of the native Scotch Pine, creating a strong vertical accent in the garden. It features the classic blue-green needles of the species, held on branches that grow tightly upright, maintaining a very narrow habit. This slow-growing conifer eventually reaches 6-8 metres in height with a slender spread of 1-1.5 metres, making it ideal for smaller gardens, formal plantings, or as an architectural statement. It is exceptionally hardy (H7) and tolerant of a wide range of conditions, preferring full sun and well-drained soil. An excellent choice for year-round structure and vertical interest.
