Dwarf Japanese White Pine 'Negishi'

Pinus parviflora 'Negishi' is a highly esteemed dwarf conifer, forming an irregular, broadly conical to mounding shape with striking blue-green, slightly twisted needles. This slow-growing cultivar is admired for its artistic form, often developing attractive gnarled branches with age. It typically reaches 3-5 metres in height and 2-3 metres in spread, making it suitable for medium-sized gardens or as a specimen plant in a contemplative setting. It is hardy (H7) and prefers full sun and well-drained soil. The prominent small cones add further interest. An excellent choice for year-round beauty and unique character, particularly suitable for Japanese-style gardens.
