Dwarf Shore Pine 'Spaans Dwarf'
A compact, slow-growing dwarf conifer, forming a dense, mound-like shrub. 'Spaan's Dwarf' is particularly valued for its rugged, knotty appearance and short, stiff, dark green needles held in pairs. It occasionally produces small cones. It typically reaches an ultimate height of 0.8-1.2 metres with a similar spread, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens, alpine beds, or containers. Extremely hardy (H7), it thrives in full sun and well-drained, even poor, soil, tolerating exposed coastal conditions. Provides robust, year-round texture and character to small spaces.
