Blue Spruce 'Montgomery'

A compact, slow-growing dwarf conifer, forming a dense, broad, pyramidal to rounded shape. 'Montgomery' is celebrated for its intense, frosty blue needles, providing a striking colour contrast in the garden throughout the year. It typically reaches an ultimate height of 1.5-2 metres with a similar spread over many years, making it an ideal specimen for rock gardens, small borders, or containers. Extremely hardy (H7), it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating urban pollution and exposure. An excellent choice for adding strong architectural form and vibrant colour.
