Runner Bean 'Polestar'

'Polestar' is a high-yielding, stringless runner bean cultivar prized for its long, straight pods and excellent flavour. This climbing variety can reach heights of 2-3 metres, requiring sturdy support. It has a spread of about 30cm. Vibrant scarlet flowers appear from mid-summer, attracting pollinators like bees, enhancing its wildlife value. Best grown in a sunny, sheltered position with moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. H2.
