Pale Stonecrop 'Gold'
Petrosedum sediforme 'Gold' is a distinctive succulent that brings a splash of luminous colour to the garden. It features upright, bushy stems clad in needle-like, fleshy leaves of a bright chartreuse-yellow. This golden hue is most intense when the plant is grown in full sun and becomes even more vivid during the cooler months. In summer, it produces flat-headed clusters of small, pale yellow flowers. Reaching about 25cm in height, it is an excellent plant for adding texture and vertical interest to gravel gardens or mixed succulent planters. It is hardy to H4, meaning it can survive most UK winters in a sheltered spot with sharp drainage. Like most stonecrops, it is highly drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal feeding. Its architectural foliage makes it a popular choice for modern Mediterranean-style garden designs in the UK.
