Tubular Water-dropwort 'Flamingo'
Oenanthe fistulosa 'Flamingo' is an eye-catching variegated cultivar of the native Tubular Water-dropwort, specifically selected for its ornamental appeal. It features finely divided, fern-like foliage that is beautifully splashed with cream, green, and vivid pink hues. This pink coloration is especially pronounced in the spring and early summer. In mid-summer, it produces delicate, flat-topped umbels of tiny white flowers that are highly attractive to pollinators. It is a clump-forming perennial that prefers the damp margins of a pond or very shallow water. Reaching up to 50cm in height, it provides a soft, airy texture to the water's edge. It is fully hardy in the UK (H7) and performs best in a sunny spot which helps maintain the vibrancy of its variegation. This is an excellent choice for small to medium ponds where a splash of color is needed.
